Capita Malaysia Trust s dividend per unit increased by 0.9% to 1.18 cents in the second quarter

In the first half of the year, the dividend payout per unit increased by 4.2% year-on-year to RM2.46 sen, the distributable income increased by 7.4% to RM71.9 million, net real estate income increased by 7.3% to RM138.8 million, and total revenue increased by 4.7% to RM236.1 million.

CapitalMalta Malaysia Trust is listed on the Kuala Lumpur stock market. It will pay dividends on August 19, with the stock registration deadline on August 5.

In Singapore, CapitaLand Investment's shares rose 0.73% to S$2.77 on Monday. In Kuala Lumpur, Capita Malaysia Trust shares remained flat at RM0.65.

According to the performance report, Capita Malaysia Trust's total revenue increased by 1.8% year-on-year to RM115.7 million, net real estate revenue rose by 5% to RM68.7 million, and distributable revenue increased by 3.9% to RM34.6 million.

CapitaLand Investment released its trust's second quarter results as of the end of June this year on Monday (July 21).

The growth in net real estate revenue in the first half of the year mainly comes from rent increase and revenue contribution from Glenmarie distribution centers. The Glenmarie distribution center was started in January 2025.

CapitaLand Malaysia Trust increased its dividend per unit by 0.9% year-on-year to RM1.18 sen (S$0.36) in the second quarter, mainly because the rental of most real estate properties in the asset portfolio was increased.
