According to the Times, all three Premier League clubs are interested in Chelsea goalkeeper Petrovic, namely Sunderland, Villa and Bournemouth.

Petrovic, 25, has returned to Chelsea after his lease in Strasbourg. In the 2024-25 season, he was named the best player in Strasbourg for his outstanding performance. However, he failed to be selected for the roster under Maresca for the Club World Cup, so he is believed to leave Stamford Bridge this summer.

Sunderland has contacted Chelsea about Petrovic's transfer, but has not yet made a formal offer, although negotiations between the two sides continue. In addition, Petrovic has attracted the attention of several European clubs, and Villa is paying close attention to his situation as the future of their main goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez is still uncertain. As for Bournemouth, they are looking for a replacement for Kepa, and Espanyol returns to Chelsea after finishing a season's loan and has joined Arsenal.

Currently, Chelsea's two first-team goalkeepers are Robert Sanchez and Philip Jorgensen. Last month, Chelsea offered AC Milan 12.7 million pounds to buy Menion, but was rejected. They do not intend to make another offer.
