According to the talksport website, Nottingham Forest Club will spend £130 million to expand their home city court.

The expansion of the city stadium is planned to rebuild the Peter Taylor stand of the stadium and add some annexed buildings. After the expansion, the total number of seats in the city stadium increased from 30,404 to about 35,000 (after that, Nottingham Forest also intends to rebuild another stand at the location, which will eventually bring the number of seats in the city stadium to 40,000).

The expansion of the city stadium was designed by construction company Benoy. The company's CEO Katledge said in an interview that their family has a history of 72 years as a fan of Nottingham Forest. This design will modernize and upgrade the stadium while retaining its historical heritage.
