According to well-known journalist Romano, Chelsea is close to hiring former Liverpool scouting director Dave Fallows.

The report states that Fallows will take up a senior role and become part of the existing team that includes Paul Winstanley, Lawrence Stewart, Joe Shields and Sam Jewell.
