A few days ago, German star Khdira, who debuted in Stuttgart youth training and played for Real Madrid, Juventus and other teams, accepted an exclusive interview with "Kickers". He talked about Stuttgart youth training, Walter Mad transfer, and the gap between the Premier League and the Bundesliga.

Q: Mr. Khdira, Stuttgart Club has always been good at youth training, so what is the current situation of the youth training system? Are there any talents worth looking forward to in the next few years?

Khdira said: "Yes, absolutely. In my opinion, Stuttgart has very outstanding talented players. The key now is not just to sell these players to the Bundesliga and Bundesliga, but to work hard to integrate them into the first team. Stuttgart has good players, but many of them do not come from their own youth training academy. If you can truly cultivate and promote your own youth training players, it will be completely different from the identity of fans, cities and regions, rather than the talents you bought from outside."

Question: What is your impression of Stuttgart's first team? How will the team develop next time after winning the Bundesliga runner-up, participating in the Champions League, winning the German Cup last season, and advancing to the Europa League?

"They have tried their best to keep most of the lineup. But it is obvious that Ondoff is injured and is absent, and Waltermad left the team completely. However, from an economic perspective, this is completely reasonable and a decision that must be made. Now the new players need to integrate as soon as possible, or give the second team and the U19 players the opportunity to make up for."

Question: This is a big task for head coach Heness.

"I think Stuttgart has a very good coach. He is good at working with young players, can drive the team's growth and make players better. This has been reflected since he took over the team two and a half years ago. I have great expectations for him and hope that Stuttgart will continue to participate in the European game next year."

Question: What do you think of Walter Mad's transfer fee of up to 90 million euros and the current transfer market?

"I won't evaluate whether Waltermad is worth 90 million euros. This is always just a matter of supply and demand. The numbers are crazy now, but we must be used to this situation, which will become more and more common in the future."

Question: There must be risks for young players to develop abroad. What do you think?

"First of all, I always think that supporting the Bundesliga is a good thing, because the Bundesliga itself is a very excellent product. There are many goals here, the most among the top five European leagues, and more than the Premier League. This means offensive football is a paradise for the striker. Of course, we cannot blame those players who choose to transfer. The Premier League is very attractive, and the game there is extremely fast pace, with almost no midfielder, only offense and defense. In addition, the huge fees paid are not just transfer fees, but also salary. This temptation is hard to resist. I think this must allow every player and individual to make their own choices."

Question: Does the Bundesliga have a chance to narrow the gap with the Premier League?

"There are some money in the Premier League, but the 15- or 16-year-olds there can already enter the professional team and get the chance to play. A statistics show that England uses its own youth training players twice that of the Bundesliga. At this point, we should be more courageous, more active, and dare to take risks."
