In an interview with Chelsea's official website, 18-year-old Brazilian player Esteban thanked the fans for their support, talked about his adaptation to the new club, and his expectations for the future.

What message would you like to convey to Blues fans?

I thank you for all the love you have given me and all the support I have received at Stamford Bridge.

Are you happy here?

I'm so happy, it's a dream to come here and play at Chelsea. Thank you for your love and I hope to repay you with my performance on the court.

How are you adapting?

The reception I have received from everyone since I arrived at the club, players, coaching staff, fans, has made me feel truly at home. I'm really happy, I settled in quicker than I thought I would and I'm happy about that.

You have scored three goals, including the winner against Liverpool. How did you feel after that game?

After experiencing a moment like that, the adrenaline was so high that it was hard to fall asleep, but I was so happy.

In Maresca's tactics, which position do you prefer to play?

My favorite thing is to play football, so of course I will do my best to help Chelsea, whether on the wing or inside. I feel comfortable in both positions and I'm happy to do whatever is best for the club.

What is your mentality?

As long as I work hard every day in training and prepare for games the right way, I'm excited to get out there and hopefully keep improving and win every game.
