When is the most suitable time for a dog to take a bath?
The appropriate water temperature should be between 36-38℃, which is close to the dog's body temperature. The indoor room is not easy to be damp or cold, and keep it at around 30℃. A closed bathing environment around the bathtub or bucket is to prevent the dog from running away from being soaked because of fear or resistance to taking a bath. If you use a bathtub to bathe, remember to add an anti-slip pad underneath to prevent the dog from slipping.
Before wet the hair, comb it to refresh, because the wet hair is not easy to clean. In addition, you can check whether there are any wounds or skin problems. If you are afraid of pain in your dog, you can press the root of your hair with your other hand to relieve the pain. The noise from the
faucets can also scare them, so add water before putting them in. The depth of the water depends on the size of the dog, as this can cause them to panic.
Rubber the diluted shower gel downward from the head to the back and gently rub it. Dogs who are exposed to rinsing for the first time will be afraid of the rinsing behavior. You can start with your feet and proceed in sequence in the order of feet → body → head, and finally remember to clean them again.
Use your fingers/comb and a hair dryer to dry your hair to ensure that the hair is dry. Pay attention to the ears, neck and armpits. It is extremely difficult to dry and can easily lead to various skin diseases. It is not advisable to stay in the same position for a long time during the process, as it may cause skin damage.
