"The Sun" reported that Manchester United is prepared to block Zirkzee's request to leave the team in the winter transfer window because they will lose Mbemo, Amad and Mazrawi during the African Cup of Nations starting in December.

The 24-year-old Zirkzee has not started for Manchester United since April, but he has been a regular in the matchday squad. His playing time is likely to increase as teammates Amad and Mbemo head to Morocco for the African Cup of Nations.

Zirkzee has not scored in the Premier League since December 1.
